Junior Youth At Lake Toxaway Have Party The Junior Fellowship of the Lake Toxaway Baptist Church had a delightful time on June 21st The party was held at Her bert Fisher’s lot on the lake from 6:00 until 9:00 p. m. The Junior boys and girls enjoyed a period of swimming before the adult board served them a delicious meal consist ing of char - grilled hambur gers, potato chips, pickles, cokes and doughnuts. Rev. Tom my Goldsmith rendered the blessing. One of the highlights of the evening was a thrilling ride on a flote * bote that carried the boys and girls on a tour of the fifteen mile lake. Captain and Mrs. Gilbert Peel conduct ed the tour. A number of outdoor group participation games were en joyed by all. To close out the fun filled evening the group was invited to gather around a large camp fire for an inspirational period. Gail McNeely, Senior Youth Fellowship member, gave the devotional thought on learning how to appreciate the beauty of God’s world. She closed with a prayer. Twenty six attended the fel lowship. She has participated in the National Piano Guild Auditions during the past five years, re ceiving Superior Plus and Cri tics’ Circle Ratings. At the age of 11, Connie per formed in a recital of Judson Hall, New York City. She has just returned from the University of Tennessee at Martin where she studied and participated in piano solo and piano ensemble classes under the direction of Dr. Al lison Nelson. ■ Connie wUl be a junior at Brevard Senior High this fall.
